Wright Feldhusen Architects developed the Yallingup Residence in Western Australia.
The website is a rural location with spectacular valley views to the east. The residence is a vacation residence for the consumer and their extended grownup family, and their kids. The consumer is involved in steel fabrication, and therefore steel construction was component of the development basis.
The main residing area is a big glassed pavilion that sits above a massive stone bedroom suit which is nestled into the hill. This offers excellent sound and privacy separation from the actions above. The primary bedroom suite is a wing that penetrates and pokes via this pavilion. This is a continuation of the garage and laundry areas which generates a western courtyard. The entry is at the intersection of these components.
The transparency of the principal residing location is essential to swallowing the see. The steel roof construction ensured the roof floats more than with butt jointed glass. The primary external residing areas are to the north and are protected by massive roof overhang. The components are picked to climate with time and also contrast with the predominantly modernist architecture.
